@Gangstress i've had to move twice in the last ten years.
On top of that, radio has changed to the digital system. And stuff i used to listen to, now, no longer exists !

So i do a bit of research online. Since 'record companies' no longer exist in the way they used to (back then. If you wanted to know about an artist you just wrote to the A&R dept. and they'd tell you what the artist had been up to)

But in that time there were two artists that 'died' kinda mysteriously.
One was an American saxophonist named Art Porter. The other a British guitarist Ronny Jordan.

Just so annoying that with all this modern tech. you still can't find answers to your questions !

I wondered if it were drug related or maybe lifestyle(which is my shorthand for suggesting it may have been something like HIV....?)
it just seems really odd that on top of all the obituary's the world bestowed upon a great musician at the news of his passing. Nobody seems to have carried the cause of death !
