oh hell yes, crop failure might have been a natural disaster, but the Corn Laws and the Parliamentary response to the famine were absolutely genocidal in results (and probably in intent)

I don't know WHY the Irish were so disliked.😞I hear they were really the first slaves?!😟

I also remember reading - much later, of course, a document by Lloyd George that there was an intention '....to stamp out every living Irishman'.

With a side order of crop failure...
