my mom had the same situation . i was 12 . middle brother just finishing high school . oldest at college . it worked out . she had the daughter she had always wanted . they got to do shopping and running around together hope you are happier when shock wears off . happy for you . :-)

I'm 27 my little sister is 5. There's a couple in between us. My mom thinks it's great. All the older siblings help out a lot.
