Thanks for the kind words! I am starting my job on Monday and am so grateful. I will continue to isolate as much as possible but I am stoked to be earning a wage again.

Sorry to hear this. Was going to say "keep your head up and you'll be fine " but that's such a cliche, though true in some respects. It's true that if you're a capable person and you keep going at it something has to happen eventually. All I can advise is to honestly self evaluate your job searching process for strengths and weaknesses, ie is your CV up to date and well written, are your interview skills spot on, can you pinpoint transferable skills you can take from your restaurant career and use them elsewhere, are there any other sectors crying out for people--I mainly work in education but was made redundant summer 2018 so I took a job in care work just until I got a new and suitable post. Please don't give up, the whole world is in turmoil right now but we will come out of it and things will work out, there'll be a big demand for restaurants and pubs, clubs etc once it's properly safe to be in them again as the world will want to celebrate so at that point they'll be crying out for staff with your experience. Keep on going and don't give up,
