How does this make you feel?

I think of my son, he was Staff SGT.in the 101st airborne in Iraq. He told me stories of his tour/march from Iran to Mosul,Iraq in 2003. He lost his driver, the driver took a shot thru his neck, my son held him as he bleed out. My son came home alive but as another person. Sooo… very sad.

Compassion, empathy, extreme sadness

Sort of makes me feel guilty for not going myself. Words are not enough to honor those guys.
