I Have Divorced Parents

I talked with my brother about our feelings due to my dad 'going out' with girls. He just thought it was fine, and genuinely seemed okay about it. Am I weird to feel so betrayed by my dad, despite his openness about the whole situation?

It's natural for you to feel that way for a while, not because your dad's doing anything wrong, but because you're hurt that he's moving on from your mum. At least he's being honest with you about starting to date. Both of your parents have to move on with their own lives eventually. My parents divorced when I was 15 and, like your brother, I didn't mind when they were dating other people, because they deserve to find their happiness elsewhere if they couldn't have it with each other.
