I've been through a million things
Never needing no one
Just a guy who always tried
And gave to people passion

Until the day I found a friend
Who said he had my back
I believed but was decieved
By thoughts I can't take back

Now here I sit confounded
Confused by all that's passed
A time gone by, a friend that lied
The die rolling as it's cast

I hold no animosity
Just in a state of pure confusion
I gave my all. You watched me fall
And stayed idle through my persecution

None of that bothered me
For I knew what you were thinking
But in the end, you failed me friend
It's a feeling that keeps sinking

I tried to let the feelings go
But then you said to me
That I know you. You're loyal and true.
It hurt. Because you believe.

You fail to see what I see.
You fail to recognize.
You stayed silent, as I faced the trident.
