Hi, I just wondered if someone had their oavaries drilled to rid exccessive cysts. 1.) Do the cysts typically come back? 2.) Ovarian Drilling is listed as a one time treatment for fertility reasons. 3.) Is this supposed to be a permant treatment?...

I've had PCOS my whole life. Never heard about ovarian drilling before. Mine has always been managed with birth control. I have had cysts burst a couple of times that's been very painful. They talked about doing a full hysterectomy and take ovaries too at one point in my life.

@IBHappy i had ovarian drilling back in November 2018. I felt great afterwards. Almost a year later I'm in quite a bit of pain.

I've been on more than my share of birth controls, etc.. So kany different treatments.
