I feel like I'm not meant for one. I might be jaded but I just feel like I might be better off on my own. I always let my anxieties get to me now, and I just can't handle relationships. idk

I think I'm not meant to fit the accepted model of a relationship. I wonder if any of us really are though.

I feel like you are expected to find that one person who fulfills all needs, and once you do you belong to each other.

I don't want to belong to someone. I want the freedom to love people. I don't want to be emotionally celibate just because I have a bf.

@KuroNeko I have been emotionally exhausted by my past relationships so I feel that need to focus much more on self love fell better about being on my own.

Since I'm nearly 40 and still haven't even been on a date,I believe that me not being meant for a relationship is a certainty. At least I am finding it easier to accept with age.
