All that happened is the Calexit got the greenlight to try and get enough signatures to put it on the ballot. And even with that, the vote would be about pursuing more legislative conversations. Then there would be another round of signatures and a vote. And THEN it would require votes on the federal level.
In other words, ain't gonna' happen.
I'll bet anything that FOX positioned it as a soon-to-be done deal and an "F the Libs" hit though.
@fun4us2b I wouldn't be surprised if that's why the person's proposing it again. He lost out the last time. Even if there were a majority supporting it, it would take longer than two years.

@SimplyTracie It would be a good place to send all the illegals, kinda like Gitmo. Hawaii used to be it's own island nation before the U.S. gov. came along and demanded to purchase it, practically at gunpoint.
