Cello, violin, or guitar ?

I want to know which one is better. ^_^

Guitar, electric guitar actually. It began in my generation. It was a new sound, a break from tradition. It was young and defiant, exciting and magic. And the sound of it could also break your heart. It could talk to us and we could hear it, loud and clear. Of course it had a lot to do with the genius that was playing it. 8)

In you opinion which do you think is better played on it's own ? I always hear the cello and violin accompanied with piano or something.
