It could be far worse. I would suggest that replacing the fuel pump on your car is far less of an ordeal than replacing the water pump on MY car - that job took eighteen gruelling hours to complete. The positives, I did it, it worked and did not leak and I had a warm garage to do the work in. Absolutely brutal job, it takes less time to swap out a motor than to change a water pump on this engine.

@pdqsailor1 lol it was a mission replacing the fuel pump. Had to lift the car from behind, get under to remove the tank as the pump is located inside the tank... Crazy job that took me about 5 hours to do alone.
