Do you 'check out' friend requests much, or just 'go-for-it'?

I check them out first, especially on Facebook. They're usually for the same game anyway, so I check the groups I'm in, if they are a member too. Being careful is always the safest thing ;)

If I get a friend request here, I look into their profile a little bit just to see what things they'd be interested in talking about

I do a comprehensive background search before I refuse them (too many .. shall we say, "weirdos" out there.

I hardly accept friend requests but thats all depending on my mood

I usually take a look but I'm not a friend collector, I have to feel some connection with the person.
