Who is/was your most interesting friend?

In my twenties I had a friend could Rich, who was around 25 years older than me. He had phenomenal intelligence and really did fit the word genius. I learnt so much from him. He also had an incredibly good sense of humour and could make even the most miserable person laugh. We lost contact when I moved away from the area I had lived in, but he left an incredible impression on me.
