You may need to do whatever is necessary to protect yourself from them. You may need to distance yourself from them. You may need to set firm and clear boundaries. But holding on to anger and resentment is a very unhappy state of mind and, on that basis, it is much better to forgive them and move on. Don't allow resentments from the past to cling to your soul; it's heavy baggage to carry in your life.

Give people a second chance, if they fuck up again there gone, recently had this happen with my pal Joe, miss him a bit but he pushed me too far, and I respect myself
