No so much a question more of a statement

But I'm surprised how much it hurts to go separate ways with a friend, even if that friend is on the other side of the world.

Breakups seem to be an easy thing to get over, the worst is breaking up with a friend and knowing you won't see or speak to that person again who once brought you joy.

It does, one of my closest friends that knows me better than most is in the USA and there has been occasions when space had to be implemented and I've always found it difficult..
