People who are potentially dangerous are at their most dangerous when being rejected. If you had to fire someone like this, how would you go about it?

I guess I should point out that I am not the manager in an office nor am I boss of a company. I am a onetime/sometime film writer (mostly unsuccessful) and she is my long time literary representative for one film script she us pushing. She is part of a sort of film studio mafia, an old cult-like group. She has made some serious threats a couple of years ago. But I don't want to live in fear. I have given her a quiet but clear ultimatum; the threats and bullying have to stop. Obviously, there is a long, complicated story here. Some of it goes back to my past (as a child in a world dominated by this cult-like group). She was very humble and sweet in our last conversation...but I know her and I am waiting for the other shoe to drop.

@TotalMiss She is actually only legally representing me for one screenplay which is currently in development (meaning it is very likely to go nowhere). I can legally sell other screenplays under my own name. But if I did, I might consider a pen name, although she'd find out eventually. I do not actually mind her taking a cut, even a large one. What I mind is the threats and a bullying attitude.

We have you a better position but it's on the other coast, here's your ticket for the trip.😊

@Mondayschild She is a film rep, has worked in films here in southern California since the 1950s. She would not leave for any amount of money, let alone a plane trip.

@TheDesciple Good general advice. I am documenting her activities and threats. I am trying to think of a way to not make it personal. As for the police (the LAPD)...they have, at least traditionally, not done anything about this group. Calling them might well exacerbate matters, but I am prepared to do that if I have to.

@TheDesciple She is not, as far as I know, extremely powerful in this group, but she is well respected and has a lot of long time powerful connections. She has had a long time career amidst this group, but as an actress, then drama teacher/coach, now literary rep. In other words she works for herself and always has, not on a salaried job. Although I believe her group has killed people before, you are right; they probably would not kill me, but I believe she, and her pals, could certainly make a lot of trouble for me.
What the fuck are you involved in? It's like something out of a bad crime novel. What are they capable of? Do you know of any sinister happenings they've been involved in?

@HUMANTRASH You can read my Featured story if you like. This problem appears to be the last one (I hope) in a series of situations involving the same people.

@waleskinder Thanks for the direct approach. I am not allowed to have a gun under the laws of my state. And...I'm just not a gun person anyway. A stun gun maybe...
