Why do some of the most intelligent, kind and attractive people get bullied?

It's always someone who sticks out. Either considered too good looking (envy) or too bad looking ("omg, you offend my fragile sense of aesthetics"), too smart ("show off") or not that sharp ("we can get away with it, they won't defend themselves"), too proactive and ambitious (show off) or too asocial and distant ("that's suspicious, he/she must be creep").

I am was a small kid and got bullied. I was put in kindergarten at 4 and a half . So other kids were always bigger. You get picked on and you get called a pu@@y for not fighting back???

Good likelihood it was modeled for them at home, bullied by parent(s) themselves and/or watched them bully others. Bullies generally have poor self esteem and think they’ll feel like “more” by making someone else feel like “less.” And are often just downright angry and are looking for a punching bag.

I've only met one person in my life that confided that they were a bully as a child ...

It was a bit of a shock for her to relate , because she was such an intelligent ,soft spoken kind hearted person. She worked as a charity fundraiser ...

She admitted , when she was young , she hated anything pretty are docile ,, that she resented them , because she was the opposite , closed in and felt ugly inside and out , and lashed out ....She didn't come from a broken family , or abuse , she was a kid that felt not pretty inside and out ..

It is mostly because of jealousy, or they are bullied as well

Because of their kindness is likely why. Bullies seem to think that kind people won’t defend themselves.

Probably just for laughs and nice people are easy prey

I despise bullies, they are typically cowards

They hurt other for their own amusement because bullies are evil pieces of 💩.

I get bullied a lot

I feel like it’s jealousy. I got bullied so bad in grade 5 because I was the first girl to develop so the girls would pick on me. I hated it and it’s just continued.

It’s always rooted in jealousy.

Bullies bully what they can't or don't understand.
