Did You Learn To Dance Or Just Pick It Up As You Went Along?

My mum taught me to jive when I was young but I’d have loved to have learnt ballroom dancing.

My older sister taught me the basics.. My high school girlfriend and I perfected our slow dancing style. Everyone gave up on me as a fast dancer, so Lynn just danced with other guys. Then we took country dancing lessons, and I could do that.

@Primnproper We had lots of fun. Several couples took lessons together. Then for years we would go to a big country ballroom and dance, swapping partners, even dancing with strangers. It was a well operated place with no out of control drunks. Just fun.
