Did You Learn To Dance Or Just Pick It Up As You Went Along?

I was just a natural.

My family and i would turn sunday into house choirs and music. We were dancing laughing and listening to music while each doing chores. Sunday cleaning up. Was fun i still go home sometimes just for Sunday chores. And dinner

My dad taught me all sorts of Latin and ballroom dances when I was very young

Never learned but I was good at keeping the beat with my feet 💃🏼 🤭

I was always a good dancer. I won the “twisting” competition at school. Not so much now with my feet and knees hurting.

While dating my wife and I took ballroom classes. I’m way out of practice now but used to dance quite often.

I honestly never picked up dancing, always had two left feet

Fake it until you make it

We had dancing lessons at school. They didn't teach me to dance the way I do now.

My older sister taught me the basics.. My high school girlfriend and I perfected our slow dancing style. Everyone gave up on me as a fast dancer, so Lynn just danced with other guys. Then we took country dancing lessons, and I could do that.

I learnt ballroom dancing as a young child. It helped a little and gave me some confidence but the knowledge disappeared out of my head. Dancing is fun but I had very little opportunity to use it and I spent more time in sports then dancing :3

Ballroom dancing was fun. It will always be fun to learn and there is time still.

My mama made me take ballroom dancing lessons 😒

I had ballet lessons at school. Ballet is the 'grammar' of dance . . once you learn the fundamentals you can pick most things up 🙂

Learnt Ballroom dancing as a kid/teen, was a very standard thing back in the 60's & 70's

neither, really.

I don't dance. Never have, and I imagine I never will.

Some of it came naturally and some of it I learned.

Some contemporary dances I learned at parties, Pop taught me some of the traditional Creole dances he learned from Grand-maman, and also to salsa dance, which he and my mother did often.

I make up my own dance moves. I'm a wild and crazy woman guy.
