Elon Musk and Twitter... 🤦🏾‍♂️

Elon Musk bought the company on Thursday.

He immediately fired the CEO and CFO.

He did not communicate via official channels with employees; no email, no town hall.

He is publicly mocking Twitter's existing processes, including the new manager training.

He's brought in external advisors and external software engineers, whom current Twitter employees feel are calling the shorts.

He said he'd fire 75% of staff, then walked back on this.

He put artificial, very aggressive, deadlines in place.

He indirectly mandated working over the weekend by setting a Monday morning demo deadline, on a Saturday.

The way Elon Musk is continuously showing total disregard and disrespect for people during his first moves on Twitter is staggering. I wonder if the company will ever recover culturally, and also what Tesla employees may be thinking right now.

Then, why did they sell it to him? Greed? What does that say about them? If anyone screwed the employees it certainly started at the very top of Twitter.

Firing those circle jerk CEOs followed by taking out the trash was the best thing to happen to the company since it's bleeding $4M a day.

Elon bringing in his trusted and exceptional software team to rebuild the company from the ground up is the common sense thing to do to reconfigure, streamline and improve the product back to profitability.

He doesn't have to communicate via official channels, or any channels for that matter. They (Twitter employees) just need to be shown the proverbial door. Twitter's existing processes were a proven failure. Enough said.

"He put artificial, very aggressive, deadlines in place." This is intentional in order to force the remaining employees to get their act together - Now. Kind of like the NFL's 2 Minute Warning. Get your shit together or lose. You're lucky you're not fired - Yet.

"He indirectly mandated working over the weekend by setting a Monday morning demo deadline, on a Saturday." I often work Saturday and Sunday (like yesterday and later on today), so what? Have you ever worked on call, or two weeks in a row? You should try it, it builds resilience, character, and an appreciation of what you have - like your job.

No one is guaranteed a job.

Elon Musk, through his take-no-prisoners team, is in the process of creating a different culture. One of his own making because He Owns It. But first he must take out the trash.

Quite bluntly, Tesla employees are very likely laughing at the pompous, entitled, conceited former Twitter employees that don't have jobs right now and had plenty of time to clearly see it coming. Tesla employees already know Elon very well, that's why they're there in the first place. His people are tough, hardened, experienced professionals. Not crybabies at their former nursery - Qwitter.

Now excuse me while I fill out an online application to work for his highly successful SpaceX company nearby as I have a background in the aerospace industry. I hear he pays Really Well.
