Question for all the pro-Palestine/Gaza college protesters...

IF you are an American citizen and have or are pro-Palestine/Gaza protesting,
would you accept a free offer to go there now?
IF not, why?

Seems like a bizarre question. Disclaimer: I’m not in college, and I haven’t protested. That said, I take it you consider yourself pro-Israel? If so would you accept a free offer to go to Israel now?

Are you against sending more funding to Ukraine? Yes? Then would you accept a free trip to Russia?

Questions like mine above and the ones in the OP show the absurdity of applying a black and white worldview to war. It is not the case that there are only two possible positions: either you want Israel to annihilate Palestine or you want Palestine to annihilate Israel. Both of those positions are extreme and cruel. I can’t speak for the protesters, but I imagine lots of people feel similar to the way I do, that we mostly just want the fighting to stop. But it’s even more complicated than that because there’s the obvious question of how can we best ensure that the peace lasts?

@Theyitis I believe the overwhelming majority of Israelis want peace. Long lasting peace. That’s the reason they back Bibi.

@AthrillatheHunt Um, no, they don't back Bibi. As for peace, they want "peace", but the word "peace" is defined differently for them. They seem to be completely unwilling to make concessions for their own behavior, or the behavior of a large segment of their society that wants to achieve "peace" through ethnic cleansing. Hitler wanted "peace" too - by eliminating his enemies, he would have "peace". Likewise, Israel only wants "peace" if they can be in complete control.

@trollslayer Italy Belgium France et al had all lost land in sub Sahara Africa.
Hitler was recreating the Roman Empire and only wanted what Rome controlled . Nothing south of the Sahara .
