I love Guys and Dolls. Great tunes and brilliant funnny lyrics based on the stories of Damon Runyon, which I love.

@Harmonium1923 Sit Down You're Rocking The Boat is the best musical song ever!! My Mam & Dad were lucky enough to see Stubby Kaye sing it in the West End when he transferred from Broadway. Must have been amazing!!

@WelshLovely Oh wow! He was the best! Live musicals on Broadway or in the West End are a totally different experience than anywhere else. I saw Ute Lemper as Velma Kelly in Chicago on Broadway and it was an incredible performance.

@WelshLovely The last show I saw in NYC was Tootsie (several years ago with the original cast). That’s as hard as I have ever laughed at a show. Highly recommended. The song “Jeff Sums It Up” at the start of the second act is one of the funniest things I’ve seen.

@Harmonium1923 I played Sky Masterson in a very bad summer camp production of that show.
@DrWatson There have been some very good London revivals.
