Samuel Alito has made a bold move openly supporting the J6 Insurrection with the corresponding flag. How can SCOTUS be impartial?

Is he unaware of the ramifications and how it will reverberate throughout further appointments, societies view on not only the impartiality of these trials, but the Republican Party as they at this point are looked at as one but the most ironic; the further destruction of Donald Trump?

He isn't. He knows exactly what he is doing. He knows no one can do anything about his activities! Ep actions are important. He can't be impeached with a Republican house and less than 2/3 votes in the Senate! There may be a recourse, and it is even logical because of population growth, in a expansion of the court, but that will take a huge turn around in Congress!
