There are so many mass shootings these days that most of them don't even make the news. These folks have a complete list:

They've logged 36 in the month of April. Looks like their definition of a mass shooting is injuries+deaths>3; call it 4 or more casualties in the incident.
BTW, it's interesting to note that , firearms have been the leading cause of death for US children and teens since 2020, representing 19% of all deaths for children 18 years and younger in 2021.

@ElwoodBlues i would say that Covid changed all of our graphs that pertain to death

@LILY61 A big part of the increase happened in 2019, Covid didn't become an issue until Mar 2020.
@ElwoodBlues i knew covid was gonna be a big deal in dec 2019. all that you needed to do was watch Chinese news.

@LILY61 Yes, and then Italy. Italy had its first Covid cases in late January; local spread by mid Feb. in Lombardy. In early March they attempted to lock down Lombardy, but some people fled south and carried the virus with them. And we didn't learn from Italy's misfortune.
