I don't want to offend anyone so let me start by saying that women can do almost any job a man can do and a man can do almost any job a woman can do. With that being said I think the world would be a better place if we had stuck with a single income household. It would have slowed inflation down because people just wouldn't have had the money to pay the inflated prices. So it doesn't really matter which spouse stayed at home but one of them should have and it would have created a better society with better children and better lives.

I think that we have to leave this to the individuals and their partners(husband/wife) to decide.
Imo,neither of the above is wrong as long as there is mutual respect between the two.

I think it depends on the household income, and the cost of living where you live. Also, are you willing to forgo a nicer car, boat, expensive vacations in order to make it work? If you can financially do it, more power to you. I think for the majority of Americans now, however it’s not a sustainable option. That said, it also depends what kind of job the other parent has. Childcare can be really expensive, and it might not be financially worth it to have both parents working. A lot of us had stay at home moms growing up, but that was a different time, and it’s not as feasible as it once was.

It's pretty sad that one has to get married or coupled to make it though. I'm sure there a lot single people. My next door neighbor is single.
I don't think that it's possible to have a stay at home wife/husband anymore - not if you want to own your own home one day. It's just too expensive to do it on the one wage.

Depends on how expensive it is where you live. Most families here need two incomes these days. I don’t know any women who can afford to stay at home.
It differs from situation to situation, but yeah, guys who want a trad wife but DON'T wanna be trad husbands need to man up. You can't want a woman to be a traditional woman when you as a man are playing video games and working as little as possible while not giving her kids and good sex. Real men LOVE and protect their women, and also cherish them.

I do what I can to provide for myself. I don’t expect a man to take on an unequal share, like majority of finances, but I do expect him to at least be able to contribute equally. I don’t want the reverse where I am someone’s sugar mama lol

@YoungPoet345 respectfully, providing for ones self is lame. I mean i do it as well but ..
YoungPoet345 · 26-30, F
@EPreject if they want to provide for the majority, I suppose I wouldn’t mind. But I like having my own income because it gives me freedom and independence
