Both of us found our dad, and now both of us found our mom

I think it's so surreal that my sister and I have faced two tragedies in sync.

We found my dads body when my parents were divorced. My mom hadn't heard from my dad so she took us to the house and we went in together.

Now, my mom. We had our mom in hospice, in my place, and my sister was staying with me since she was close to the end.

I woke up at 8:25am. As I was coming around the corner, my sister was coming in the door from taking my niece to school.

We both looked at the bed, and realized.

what are the odds....so strange....so much to do.

I swear I can still hear her breathing.
