A fun little agreement
Confirmation....a ceremony held by the Catholic church....to marry teenagers to "God"....some mysterious...."all powerful", unnamed....spirit. Spirits....are supposed to be malicious right? But....not God. God is above all that. He is good and above all vile things.
At confirmation. These teenagers....are told....that they will have "hands laid on them." And then....they will take "God" "into" themselves and "achieve union". Then they will be "filled" by the "holy spirit." I just attended a seminar. Hosted by the church. This is...the exact terminology they used.
Does this sound....odd....to any of you? 😛
