What generic product do you feel is just as good as the name brand product?

I buy most of my groceries generic/store brand because in many cases, it is the same product as some of the name brands. I also buy things like sandwich bags, paper towels, etc. in the store brand.
It would probably be easier for me to answer what I [i] don't[/i] buy generic than what I do! 🤣 I'll definitely buy name brand if the quality is noticeably better and I feel it's worth it, but if there's little to no difference (or in some cases, if the generic is actually better), I typically go with generic to save as much as possible.
With other items that I expect to have for quite a while, however, I really put an emphasis on quality and durability and don't do cheap or cheaply made (though unfortunately, expensive and/or popular name brands don't always guarantee quality, especially in today's age of planned obsolescence). Even if I have to buy an older but well-maintained secondhand model, I'm 1,000% fine with that and much prefer it. I actually do a lot of secondhand shopping for this reason.

@Colormegone What counts as crazy high? My blood pressure pills are about 50 NOK (4.60 USD) for 98 pills (14 weeks) for generic and about 125 NOK (11.50 USD) for the original.

@Colormegone Good grief! Here if you spend more than 3 165 NOK (292 USD) on medicine or medical equipment and sundries you will be issued with a frikort (free card) that means that you won't have to pay any more for the rest of the year. If you spend more before the card arrives it will be refunded (I think) in next year's tax return.
