Tonight I caught these dudes breaking into somebody's car

Idk if they were trying to steal it or steal stuff out of it but I heard glass shatter so I looked up. Right as I looked up I saw two men reaching into a car from both sides. As soon as they opened the door the alarm went off & I also noticed they both had masks on. So I immediately yelled "HEY WHAT THE FUK!!" & they both stopped & ran back to a car that was parked in the middle of the street.

I ran after them to try getting their license plate number but they took off immediately & it was too far away to see. So they got away. Not that I was expecting to catch them anyway. I just wanted to stop it from happening & scare them off. Which worked. They definitely broke a window but they didn't steal the car or have time to steal anything from it.

I left a note in the car detailing what happened & left my phone number too. Just in case they want to call & hear about it first-hand.

Shit just has me a little surprised because I didn't expect to interrupt some dumbass robbers in the middle of the night like this
