Found out that my dad thinks he's taking my advice. But he's getting it all twisted up.

He's asked me numerous times what I would do with the rental houses, and I've told him. Sell them. Sell all of them, and use the couple of million we would have left over after taxes to purchase a small apartment complex. All the rental income, none of the driving all over kingdom come to manage every property between Oregon City and Gresham.

He thought he was doing that.

But as with every good idea he hears, he has to "improve" it.

So now instead of selling all of them, buying an existing apartment complex, and calling it good, he wants to put in the time and effort to convert three houses on a cul-de-sac we own into a single apartment complex, in a project that will take months or even years to come to fruition.

And then he tells me he's just taking my advice.

No you're not, Dad. You're improving it to ԁеаtһ.

That's really frustrating, like he thinks the advice isn't good enough and it will only work with his improvements but it ends up messing up or taking too much time.
