Come back either to haunt you or have made enough of an imprint, that they require your attention ...
The other day in my office i made a self depreciating remark in jest about the ability to impress or leave an imprint on any customers that call in for support ......
She leans over the office divider .and says.'why you always gotta do that ?'. ...do what ? I askew back ....'why do you always gotta put yourself down '... I said , you know I am only joking ,,, and she replied yah .. But I don't think it's good for you .. I said that it keeps me grounded and humbled about my abilities ....and left it at that ...
The people i most admire in this world , just do what they do without any requirement or expectations for adulation , ... They just perform at their best without pomp and ceremony and are in my mind the best of us .,.. I truly believe that . Even though they would humbly shrug that remark off ...... But when I observe those people I really admire , they never self deprecate either .. They are truly humble without bringing any attention to themselves ...
Soooo.This seemingly small observation has had a major impact on me and I think it's a time for me to change into the people I admire the most ...I think this drawing attention has a broad scope with me , and I can see how it only panders to any insecurities i have ...
