why do often people don't respond to posts on here

i find this really disheartening at times on this site, i could post 7 posts in a row which have been posted for hours and none of them get answered....i notice this site has a clique mentality and its female or popular users who get all the replies to their posts....there's no consistency with replies...backon yahoo answers i used to almost always get my questions answered....but not here...its like this site just goes dead for a time/......and your posts go ignored and then the odd time you get one or two replies.
