Sucky Sucky!!
I'm the proud, and overwhelmed, owner of a new 3D printer. I've taken to collecting all the pretty spools of filament. How can you not when there are so many colors and materials?!
It turns out that stuffs needs to be kept dry. I bought some giant sealed bins and dessicant to store it. Those bins take up a lot of space, and are now full.
So! Today I recieved the vacuum storage bags I ordered. You simply put the spool and some dessicant in the bag, zip it closed, and put the surprisingly strong rechargeable vacuum pump on the bag's little valve... and just like that it's supposedly protected from the humidity in air.
Now I read and followed most of the instructions, granted I may have skipped some of the warnings. But as a mere mortal there's no way I could resist. And momma didn't raise no bitch. I wasn't going to quit before the pump...
So my left nipple is now bruised and I've yet to seal away a spool of filament. 馃槼
