A blunder that's not making the news...

Normally I don't point out these foreign policy blunders on either parties. Yet this is one I must point out.

[media=https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vIHN7XRwW4o]

The fallacy here in complaining about immigration is purely population density.

Now theses figures come from just one site to maintain consistency.

Japan

The population density of Japan in 2022 was 327.94 people per square kilometer, a 0.53% decline from 2021.
The population density of Japan in 2021 was 329.69 people per square kilometer, a 0.5% decline from 2020.

The population density of U.S. in 2021 was 34.28 people per square kilometer, a 0.31% increase from 2020.

As you can see Japan and India alone have tremendous population density problems.

It's not fare to say they they don't allow immigration when the USA has almost a tenth of the population density of Japan alone!

I sure hope he corrects that blunder. Though it's not likely to happen.

It's not about population growth. Japan has the opposite problem. I've been to Japan on dozens of trips, and I've always been treated like a gaijin.

I don't have as much experience with India, but where I live is 30%+ Indian, and the xenophobia is clear.

The President is on point calling them xenophobic. And we Americans have plenty of experience, half of us are xenophobic.

@Northwest they have resource problems.

That's why they appear to be xenophobic! They are tied together!

You can't separate the two! It's a complex world and you're refusing to acknowledge the complexity.

We simply don't have the resource problems that they do. Our population density isn't as big.

Go to Nebraska or Kansas or the Dakota's. Any of those states are as big as Japan! Yet for hundreds of miles you'll see nothing! Heck there's even ghost towns.

@Northwest oh I know they have had some historical tendencies. That's why they joined up with Germany!

Yet you're still ignoring their resources.

It's why they attacked China in WWII!
Japanese had their own version of "Lebensraum". They wanted resources!

We still haven't touched much of our resources.

Look at Alaska! The biggest state in the union mostly untouched.

The two are inseparable!

His handlers and scriptwriters likely scrambled to bury the comment as soon as it came out of his mouth. I would be shocked if they ever script anything about that again. It would be fun to get Joe off script on it though.
Biden is senile. You guys need to vote for young blood 🩸

@TrashCat she will be the strongest candidate. It's like Hillary was against Trump. She was Obama's secretary of state. Pence was never a factor. Pence betrayed Trump. And right so. Yet he paid for that.
TrashCat · M
@DeWayfarer Trump betrayed Pence and all of the US
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@TrashCat agreed. Yet I believe I mentioned that.
I don't think population density has been a problem. It's just a fact. The coming decline is global. It's also just a fact that we're aging and approaching a population cliff.

@jshm2 I'm not confused. Population density is not something to be confused about in either cases.

Too many people is still too many people.
