I can imagine some people getting upset about it because they believe accepting some Palestinians as refugees is a form of ethnic cleansing instead of a generous offer. 😂

@Puppycat23 Unless there is a plan for those refuges to return to their homes, it is ethnic cleansing, by definition. That is why neighboring countries don't want to take in refugees - because if they do, history shows that Israel will never let them return. If Israel came out and declared their plan for after this war and guaranteed that refugees would be allowed back home, I am sure the response would be different.

@trollslayer This is why I don’t support UNWRA. if Palestinians who are refugees were under UNHRC (like every other refugee worldwide) that helps to integrate refugees into the local population where they reside and seeks durable solutions for refugees which includes voluntary return, they wouldn’t have this issue.
