One thing about a bully: a bully knows who to start a fight with. The US has never initiated a war with a country like Russia or China or even Iran. Iraq was a small poor country without air defense systems and with low soldier morale. United States knows they have no chance in defeating Iran short of a nuclear war which could be devastating for us too if Iran indeed has already developed nuclear weapons.
