I’ve angered a bee
I just didn’t notice her. Then I was twisting peppers off a plant, and she started getting loud and hovering a little close. 😬 “I’m sorry, lady. I gotta make dinner. Just need some onion too and I’ll be on my w—“
She flew up higher, so I abandoned the onions and am now hiding inside for a bit. 😅 I’ve never been stung even when I’ve had bees land on me. But I’ve also never so clearly pissed one off except the time when I was a kid, and my sisters and I accidentally caught one while trying to get butterflies (we abandoned the nets after that). Oops.
Know what’s funny? Honeybees’ venom is supposed to have cancer-fighting properties. I’d need way more than a single bee’s sting. I think about that sometimes though.
