Autumn Regrets

My eyes
They close to listen
As trees
They tend to rustle
Leaves scatter
As wind swept in
Time seeps in too
Unyielding so
Likened to the autumn
In my heart.
A melancholy way
My soft and slow decay
I breathe in
The Fallen scents
With plenty of thoughts
For an empty bench
Yet memory fades
And summer forgets
I should have stayed
So autumn regrets.
