What went wrong today?
Today I went to one of the most posh area of our city Bangalore in India for walking tour. Its a heavily posh area full of luxury hotels, IT companies and businesses so there are foreign expats in the area. I saw 3 foreign women in total out of which i tried initiating conversation with 2 of them. All the 3 women were white and blonde actually so yeah they were all Europeans.
The 1st one looked to be about 28-35 age range. I said her excuse me to initiate a conversation but then noticed that she was having wireless bluetooth earphones in her ears so she didnt even notice me and continued walking. Then i saw the 2nd one. She definitely looked older in her 40s but I don't mind the age as I am 23 now so I am an adult. She wasnt even having any earphones but still she didn't look at me when i said her excuse me. Idk why she did that. I was just looking for a genuine conversation and I am a well educated guy pursuing his MBA degree. Of course i didnt try further to initiate conversations to respect her space but idk whether she ignored me. I was also nervous so maybe i didnt say her excuse me loud enough so she didnt hear it or maybe she did intentionally ignored me. I was a bit upset honestly.
Then i saw the 3rd one who was a blonde too and seemed younger in the 25-30 age range but she was going in a bicycle on the other side of the road so i didnt even get a chance to even initiate a conversation with her. So yeah in short i am upset that today i actually tried to talk with them but still had no luck.
