I want to share a story I’ve been following. It has really made me feel happy and I’m so inspired.
Captain Tom Moore is a veteran who turns 100 at the end of this month. To celebrate, he’s walking around his garden 100 times to raise money for our NHS (the UK’s healthcare system). He uses a frame to help him, so he’s walking 10 laps each day until he’s finished. He set himself a target of £1,000 last week and he’s since raised nearly £7million. 🤗💛
I’m not sure whether we’re able to post links in stories, but his fundraising page is here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/tomswalkforthenhs. 💛
EDIT: He’s raised £7million in the 30-minutes since I posted this. 💛 EDIT #2: He’s now raised £9million. 💛
