Seems Like The City Is Hiding The Numbers On The Amount Of Homeless or Transients That Have Come To This City…

It was implied that there were a bit more than 130, which was the overflow for the number of available beds at two shelters. Someone else who knows said that it is more like 500. They used to be just on this side of the city mostly the old downtown area and near another shelter but now there are tent camps popping up in wooded areas on the outskirts of the metro area. Even one close to the interstate under a bridge and in that area. Businesses in the old downtown area keep closing up or moving to other areas. And people interested in moving here are changing their minds about buying real estate.

Of course they do....no different than China's game of hide and seek. Corrupt leaders are following the Chinese Government's establishment system to have almost complete control of citizens. Censor and propaganda plays a huge role there.

Blame loss of good paying jobs and the ever increasing cost of housing. No factories or warehouses, then everything gets made in south East Asia and delivered by UPS or FedEx.

Housing needs to come first though. So that they can at least find a good paying job.

No housing, no one is going to hire you! Not even at minimum wage now. The first thing they ask is where do you live on the application. Not even a interview. And the big corporations have left because they don't want to pay union wages.

It's greed all around.

Heck they are even delivering our trash to foreign countries. Because they don't want to pay for it here. The land is too expensive.

The corporations don't even want to train anyone. There's no such thing as apprenticeships that have room and boarding. Much less pay for a college degree.

@MarineBob Many of those who can’t get into the shelters are druggies, registered sex offenders or violent offenders or have been banned due to violence of being drunk or high, there was a meth camp located in a wilderness park for over 2 years, thanks to the previous mayor who told the police to stand down. Some of these are also young college-aged people who seem to feel entitled to camp on private property and think that they should get free utilities built out in the wooded areas plus well water. They have no clue about how much something like that would cost. Probably no clue about how to get a job and support themselves either.

@MarineBob And we’ve found pry marks on a window as if someone has tried to get into one of the bedrooms. A neighbor found pry marks on one of his back room windows a little over a year ago too.
That doesn't really surprise me.

Here, they do an annual rough sleepers count - now, notice how I worded that...

Yes, that's correct, they only count the people who are lying down or sleeping on the streets - so, if you are sitting up, trying to get your last few pennies for your tea... you're not counted as a rough sleeper.

Some of the counters were asking people to just lie down so that they can count them as rough sleeping.

I just wonder what end-game they have planned.
Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. revealed the Bankers Manifesto of 1892 to the U.S. Congress somewhere between 1907 and 1917.

BANKERS MANIFESTO

We (the bankers) must proceed with caution and guard every move made, for the lower order of people are already showing signs of restless commotion. Prudence will therefore show a policy of apparently yielding to the popular will until our plans are so far consummated that we can declare our designs without fear of any organized resistance.

Organizations in the United States should be carefully watched by our trusted men, and we must take immediate steps to control these organizations in our interest or disrupt them.

At the coming Omaha convention to be held July 4, 1892, our men must attend and direct its movement or else there will be set on foot such antagonism to our designs as may require force to overcome.

This at the present time would be premature. We are not yet ready for such a crisis. Capital must protect itself in every possible manner through combination (conspiracy) and legislation.

The courts must be called to our aid, debts must be collected, bonds and mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible.

When, through the process of law, the common people have lost their homes,
they will be more tractable and easily governed through the influence of the strong arm
of the government applied to a central power of imperial wealth under the control of the leading financiers.

People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. History repeats itself in regular cycles. This truth is well known among our principal men who are engaged in forming an imperialism of the world. While they are doing this, the people must be kept in a state of political antagonism.

The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organization known as the Democratic Party, and the question of protection with the reciprocity must be forced to view through the Republican Party.

By thus dividing voters, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to the common herd. Thus, by discrete actions, we can secure all that has been so generously planned and successfully accomplished.
