Why does it seem

That shitty people get the best of everything? Best jobs, best relationships, they get away with everything.. get paid for doing a shitty job, while the rest of us bust our asses and still get the short end of the stick.

People tend to have a faith in confidence. When people say things confidently enough people tend to believe them. Shitty people have no problem confidently lying or misdirecting for personal gain.

You can also see this with stupid people having jobs way above their competence level. Stupid people don't know enough to question their ability. "I got this, how hard can it be?" Lot of politicians end up here it seems. They seem nice on the outside. They sound confident in their soundbites. But if you try to sit them down for intelligent conversation you suddenly realize why the world is in such a sorry state.

I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s a sad world

@SW-User it makes me think maybe I should be a bad person, maybe my life would be better.

Yes, ruthless people that step on others to get what they want are lucky. People like over confident m, shallow and manipulative people. I see it over and over. If you’re nice and polite they think nothing of you . @Lilliesandlight

@SW-User it really does seem that way. Evil always wins

I mean yeah I kinda see it too. Like those types of people at work who just don't give a fuck and they seem like they're on top of the world.
Lilliesandlight · 41-45, F
@MURD3RM0NK3Y he sounds pretty damn useless
MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
@Lilliesandlight No one likes him tbh but he's the production floor lead. I can't do anything about it.
Lilliesandlight · 41-45, F
@MURD3RM0NK3Y no one likes this lady I'm talking about either. We've all complained about here many, many times. The manager keeps protecting here like a child, and she's freaking old

Whether grass is really greener on other side or not. Thinking this way wouldn't get you anything other than frustration and demotivation.

That does happen, but you can't base your own success or happiness on such.

Damn straight
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
I used to believe that, but I've found out many rosy looking relationships usually hide something more sinister privately.

It's because they take what they want without remorse. In an ideal society, they would be punished for that, but we don't live in an ideal society. We live in a society where people who act like that are rewarded. It's disgusting.
Lilliesandlight · 41-45, F
@LordShadowfire yes, it's true. I tried to discipline the worst employee who I've ever seen, who I supervise. I was told I'm allowed to write her up, and when I do, the manager basically throws my write up out the window. She gets off Scott free. So obviously she's allowed to do whatever she wants

I agree with you. It’s disheartening.
