The plan going forward

Doc went over my PET scan results today. I saw them already, and knew several of the tumors had shrunk. So he wants to continue the enhertu treatment. I was supposed to get round 7 tomorrow… 😬 But I didn’t get bloodwork done. (Intentionally because I thought I was just getting zometa, the bone loss meds, tomorrow. I thought round 6 was the last one like the last type of chemo I had. Nope. My mistake)
I don’t want to get bloodwork done today, so I rescheduled treatment for next week. That means next month’s treatment won’t interfere with my birthday. Good because I want to go for a hot air balloon ride. Can’t be too sick while I’m trying to float around in the sky. 😂

I know a couple people in the medical field who can help me figure out what I need to for alternative treatment. I’ll stick with the enhertu, but I need them to tell me if certain other things I’m planning will conflict with it. I can’t ask my oncologist because he won’t approve. Most of them don’t, even if you show them studies from government websites that show what’s been effective in treating cancer.
But if what I’m thinking of doesn’t conflict with enhertu, then I’m going to try it to see if it speeds things up.

I’m optimistic about things.

I don't know the whole story here but enough details to know that you are going through a trying time. I don't have a medical background but I would offer my prayers to you.

@Colonelmustardseed please keep me posted. we don't know each other but i can only imagine the stress you are under.
@akindheart Not as much lately. It’s been a long journey, but cancer brought me closer to the Lord; and I’m in a much better headspace lately.

@Colonelmustardseed THAT is best answer to your own story!

@Colonelmustardseed it will. And you have tremendous faith which is always a comfort x

Hopefully everything works out. I get freaked out by cancer but am glad we live in a time where something can be done about it
@deadgerbil It really is a strange and crazy disease; our own cells mutating and turning against us.
And it’s interesting and cool that there are people who can study these things and understand what’s happening and what might combat the issues.
@Colonelmustardseed Yay for shrinkage and cheers to progress! I’d love to hear what you’re thinking of trying. I get doctors don’t want to get sued for going ‘off book’ but we really should be doing as much natural healing as we can. I mean, good alone impacts SO much, and they never talk about it! It’s so frustrating. Just pushing pills all day
