Do you use 30 grams of ground coffee to 500grams of water when using a French Press Plunger?

I have a Plunger and was worried about how much coffee I was putting in (2 heaped teaspoons to 500mil of water) . So I Googled as you do, and came across this vid:

Going by what he suggested, my coffee has been weak. So I was wondering. How much do you use?

What's a gram? I use two big scoops to make a pot with my French press. I don’t like it too strong. And some hazelnut Coffeemate. I am in the process of switching to mushroom coffee. I think I'm too old for caffeine and sugar first thing in the morning but it's what gets me up and going.

@hunkalove A unit of weight measurement. The smallest (but don't quote me on that in case something smaller is out there) a level teaspoon has 5 gram's for example.
If you stir the coffee before setting the plunger in place it removes a lot of the pressure.🤓
