Yes, there are some good options. I'm on the Keto diet, so avoiding sugar. Lily's chocolate is excellent, and Atkins makes some good treats, like peanut butter cups and chocolate covered wafer cookies.

Malitol and Lactitol are sugar free substitutes found in candy, and in chocolates. Careful with them, as they can cause bloating and diarrhea.

I used to when I was dealing with acne.
Sugar-free candy causes stomach issues, it's even labeled as such.
I've overcome that.
I eat regular chocolate now but not as much.

@iamnikki It’s probably the sugar alcohols or even Monk Fruit or allulose (which are natural) that is causing the stomach upset. I can’t tolerate any them and resort to using pure stevia now as a sweeter. Those sugar alcohols have been labeled “Gut destroyers” so best to stay away from them. There is one kind of sugar-free sweetener that was used in hospital puddings that would rot in my gut and not get digested properly. They say a certain percentage of people lack the enzyme necessary to digest it and I’m apparently one of them. It doesn’t take much high-percentage dark chocolate to build new stem cells, the equivalent of 3 chocolate chips per day will heal heart stem cells after heart attacks according to one cardiologist.

@cherokeepatti yea, that's interesting, the chocolate chip thing is interesting too. Do you believe it?

@iamnikki yes, it’s not actually chocolate chips but the portion amount of dark chocolate (like 85-90%) that will work.

I have had some that is great and some that is awful.

I think the good stuff has a super high fat content! 😂

I don’t like chocolate enough to even buy it
