Is there a problem with freezing meat? Or freezing cooked food to eat at a later date?

I'm wondering if this is a poor person thing or something.

I generally buy in bulk to save money since I need to budget, and it saves me time not having to shop for food daily or weekly.

Is this not normal?

before freezing break meat down into individual portions. dont freeze-thaw-freeze-thaw whole package

@1490wayb I bought 31 chicken thighs and drumsticks pieces. So I did three large trays and seasoned them 3 different ways. Once they cooked and cooled down they went into containers of 4 pieces each.
Now I have a choice as to what to thaw. For up to 2 months!
