Is there a problem with freezing meat? Or freezing cooked food to eat at a later date?

I'm wondering if this is a poor person thing or something.

I generally buy in bulk to save money since I need to budget, and it saves me time not having to shop for food daily or weekly.

Is this not normal?

We freeze all kinds of meat we butcher. From beef, goat, sheep, rabbit, deer, raccoon, fish and whatever else.

We also freeze dry meat do.
