Is there a problem with freezing meat? Or freezing cooked food to eat at a later date?

I'm wondering if this is a poor person thing or something.

I generally buy in bulk to save money since I need to budget, and it saves me time not having to shop for food daily or weekly.

Is this not normal?

This is what I do, I have 2 boys that eat a lot so I buy meat in bulk and freeze it for meals.

@iamonfire696 thank you

@Mellowgirl I make meals and freeze them too. Like batches of chilli, meat marinara sauce, lasagna, home made soups. Then when I am not feeling well I can just grab something from the freezer. It’s much less expensive this way and I know what I have put in it.

@iamonfire696 I totally agree.

He claims that the meat tastes weird when it comes out the freezer and reheating it changes the texture. But I can't say I've experienced that.

I do remember one time I over microwaved something and the mince was crispy in sections 😕🤣😂

@Mellowgirl As long as you’re not leaving it in the freezer for too long it’s fine. And yah over heating it doesn’t help lol.

I wouldn’t be able to afford to feed my kids with the amount they eat if I didn’t buy meat in bulk,
