Is there a problem with freezing meat? Or freezing cooked food to eat at a later date?

I'm wondering if this is a poor person thing or something.

I generally buy in bulk to save money since I need to budget, and it saves me time not having to shop for food daily or weekly.

Is this not normal?

Nothing wrong with feezing meat (cooked.or raw). I too buy in bulk and have a stanalone freezer. I also make meals in bulk then put them in individualized containers for later. Make sure you label when you put them in the freezer.
